SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICIES
At present, free shipping is being offered  for as long as possible, but occasionally, based on the size of the artwork and where it is going - there might have to charge extra to ship - this will be noted in the description.  Simply email LSFA if you have any questions about these policies, thanks:

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING MAKING A FINE ART PURCHASE:
Please take the time to read the following information CAREFULLY as it explains how these things are handled.
Shipping a painting, especially one that is of large size - is no small matter. Because of the nature of it, a lot of care has to go into packaging the piece for transport it will be photographed as it is packaged and photographs will be kept until the piece arrives to you.
Estimated time of arrival: Please allow two weeks for handling plus one week in transit. 
Shipping time is approximately 3-4 weeks.

COSTS:
Shipping paintings often incures charges that don’t get charged for smaller items. These can include an “oversize” charge which can cost as much as $25 or more on top of the regular shipping service charges. Because of this, I do not “upcharge” shipping (as a lot of companies do) by adding a percentage on top of charges. What I quote you is exactly what you will pay for shipping. For a limited time, ground shipping will be free, there is an option for overnight delivery, please contact me as this is an extra charge.

INSURANCE:
This is highly recommended: this is an additional charge based solely on the price of the piece and it is up to you whether or not you would like to have the shipping company add it to the price.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU 
RECEIVE YOUR PAINTING:
Upon receipt and BEFORE you open the box, please inspect the package carefully!
If there is evidence of damage, please take photographs BEFORE you open the item. If there is any damage to the painting as a result of transport, the physical condition upon receipt will make it possible and easier to collect on the insurance policy. Shipping companies demand proof of damages.
Since the painting is photographed during the process of packaging - it is therefore documented BEFORE it ships. This is taken very seriously, as people have paid hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars for these originals and I appreciate their willingness to purchase and display my artwork in their homes. Every attempt is made  to insure the artwork is shipped in pristine condition.


ONCE IT LEAVES THE SUTDIO, WHAT HAPPENS TO IT CANNOT BE CONTROLLED.
The above policy is here to insure your investment, to protect you!!
You will receive a tracking number from UPS or USPS, whatever service is being used so that you can follow the item in transit - these services often let you control the time which it is delivered to you

RETURNS:
If you received damaged artwork due to transit (shipping company) please contact me IMMEDIATELY (within 3 to 7 days) This will allow the insurance to be collected on the item and your reimbursement to happen on a timely basis.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I KNOW OF THE ISSUES SO THAT I CAN HELP YOU RECOVER YOUR INVESTMENT. 
Please also read “Shipping Policies” because that covers what I do to protect your artwork in transit and this will be important moving forward.

Returns are optional based on the following conditions:
1. The artwork MUST be returned in its original condition. No dents, scratches, rips, tears, dirty fingerprints or uncleanable surfaces. 

I MUST BE ABLE TO RESELL THE ARTWORK AGAIN AND NOT HAVE TO RETIRE IT DUE TO DAMAGE.
Artwork must be in its original state. Photos of the condition of the artwork must be taken prior to shipping the painting.

2. You must contact me within a 12 day window, please let me know that you are returning the artwork so that we can make proper arrangements.

3. Artwork must be well protected during its return transit to me and you must supply a tracking number along with photos of the artwork as you are packaging it. It does not matter how you send the art, I must be able to track it and know that it has been properly cared for.

4. You must let me know that you are returning the item. If you have any questions regarding this or some unforeseen circumstance that is not covered here, please contact me and I will do what I can to satisfy your situation.

ITEMS RETURNED WILL BE REFUNDED LESS SHIPPING CHARGES. 
​You will be refunded with the piece arrives in re-sellable condition.

All names, email addresses and information that I receive from clients is kept strictly confidential.
