About The Artist:
Laura's career as an artist began in her college years where she was studying as a
music major in performance as a classically trained flutist.As a senior, she took a painting class and decided to return to school to study art and design, gaining a secondary degree in graphic design. She then took on work as a professional graphic designer working for national companies designing promotional materials and websites.
The opportunity came to quit her full time position and pursue her love of abstract artwork in 2011. Since then she has been selling her artwork thru channels such as Pinterest and Behance, launching both her professional gallery website and her shop site here at Laura Swink Fine Art
